BWT has been a sponsor of top-class sports since 2015. We are united by the demand for quality, innovative technologies, and the passion to give our best every day. The last few years BWT has left clear traces in the world of sports – it is impossible to imagine the racing, skiing, ski jumping and soccer circus without the color PINK. It catches the eye of spectators at events. The fact that this is not purely about attracting attention, the color pink stands for our mission “Change the World – sip by sip”. We are pleased that more and more of our partners are committing to this mission, implementing our Bottle Free Zone concept, and thus sending a clear signal against single-use plastic waste.

We have set ourselves the goal of making Formula 1 paddock free of single-use plastic bottles over the next few years. To achieve this goal, BWT is setting up water dispensers throughout the paddock and in the Paddock Club, where drivers, crew and fans can enjoy fresh, local water – mineralized with magnesium, zinc, and silicate – in reusable bottles. But numerous other sporting events and clubs – from the ADAC GT Masters to LASK and SV Sandhausen, to different winter sports destination in the world and the French national stadium Stade de France – now also rely on BWT mineralized water.

The Bottle Free Zone concept is simple, sustainable, and easy to implement everywhere. It’s not about doing without bottles completely: Rather, our initiative aims to avoid single-use bottles and thus reduce plastic waste.
