The larger cell body provides high water flow around and between the electrode plates. This reduces hydraulic restriction and helps provide consistent flow across the electrolytic plate surfaces for efficient chlorine production.
The cell features a large, robust locking ring for secure, water-tight seal and easy access to the cell.
50mm Barrel-union plumbing connections:
The cell uses practical barrel-union connections, making removal and servicing simple and allowing the Long-Life Cell to be readily retrofitted into many existing chlorinator installations.
Oversized titanium electrode plates:
The large plate area allows the cell to produce the required chlorine output at a lower current density. This reduces stress on the electrode coating and helps significantly extend cell life.
Premium Ruthenium coating:
The titanium electrodes use a high-quality ruthenium-based catalytic coating sourced from a specialist global manufacturer of electrochemical electrode coatings in the USA.
The coating is designed for long operating life in demanding salt-water chlorination applications.
